Bring your child’s name, interests and favorite themes into a story of their own. Weave in a familiar daily routine or a gentle lesson, from getting ready for bed to learning to share.
Add gentle background music and a sleep timer. Music can continue after the story ends until the timer runs out. Sign in to save available narration on your device. An internet connection is currently required to start playback.
Register an account to create stories for your family.
Create or choose your child’s profile, then pick a theme they’ll love. Add a gentle lesson or familiar daily routine if you like.
Pick a language and one of the story lengths offered in the app, then create your tale. Read it through before sharing it with your child.
Choose a narrator to bring your story to life. Narration is created separately when you’re ready to listen.
Baku uses AI to create stories, cover images and narration. AI content may contain mistakes or be unsuitable for your child. Review it before reading or listening together.
Your child’s profile belongs to your adult account, with no separate child login. Your personal stories stay outside the public collection.
Before your first personal AI request, Baku asks permission to share your child’s name, derived age in months, gender and interests, together with your story choices, with OpenAI to create, revise and check the story. The recorded birth date is not sent as a personalization field. OpenAI also receives a scene description for the cover; Baku reduces identifying details in that description without promising anonymity.
Microsoft Azure or ElevenLabs receives the story text and speech settings for narration. The text can include your child’s name or other personal details. Read the AI data-sharing explanation before deciding.
You can decline or withdraw permission at Settings → AI data sharing. This blocks new AI requests; accepted requests and their processing steps may finish. Withdrawal does not erase data already sent. Baku does not submit this data for model training; release of personal AI generation requires verification of the providers’ no-training configurations and terms.
